I know what it feels like to hold back and I don’t want that for your child.

I was a quiet, anxious child. The kind who sat on the sidelines, overthought everything, and shrank away from opportunities that I desperately wanted to reach for. For a long time I thought that was just who I was – a personality type, unchangeable.
It took me years as an adult to understand the truth: mindset is a skill. Confidence is a skill. Resilience is a skill. And had someone gently shown me how my mind worked when I was young, my experience of childhood and so much of what followed would have been completely different.
“I realised that with the right tools, I wouldn’t have held back the way I did. I want every child to know that earlier than I did.”
When my older daughter hit her tween years, I started to recognise something in her, flashes of the same self-doubt, the same hesitation I had known so well. She is bright, spirited, and wonderfully strong-willed, and I knew she deserved to step fully into all of that, without the filter of fear holding her back.
That’s what brought me to the Adventures in Wisdom® curriculum. When I first encountered it, I didn’t just see a coaching programme — I felt it speak to the child in me. Here was a way to help kids truly understand how their minds work, through story, conversation, and tools they could actually use. I knew immediately I wanted to share this with as many children as possible.
I trained and became a certified Adventures in Wisdom® Life Coach for Kids and I haven’t looked back.
A little more about me
Before coaching, I spent many years in the corporate world as a Project Development Manager at NIQ (NielsenIQ), working in innovation, helping brands understand how to connect their products with people through the power of story. I led teams, managed client relationships, and learned that real communication isn’t about information, it’s about connection.
That belief sits at the heart of how I coach. Every session is built around story, conversation, and genuine relationship with each child. I’m a natural connector, a patient listener, and I take the time to meet every child exactly where they are.
I’ve also spent years volunteering in school reading groups, and there is something truly special about watching a child’s face when a story reaches them. That magic is something I bring into every coaching session.
I coach children aged 6–14, both online and in person, and I work closely with parents throughout the journey because the shifts children make are most powerful when they’re supported at home too.
